Eli Lilly (LLY) launched an injector pen for Mounjaro, its weight-loss drug, for 14,000 rupees, or $160, for its starting dose in India, Rishika Sadam and Kashish Tandon of Reuters reports. The six available doses are 2.5mg for 14,000 rupees, 5 mg for 17,500 rupees, 7.5mg and 10mg for 22,000 rupees, and 12.5mg and 15mg for 27,500 rupees. Meanwhile, competitor Novo Nordisk’s (NVO) Wegovy’s doses are 0.25mg, 0.5mg, and 1mg for 17,345 rupees a month, while its highest doses of 1.7mg and 2.4mg cost 25,280 rupees and 26,015 rupees, respectively.
