Barclays lowered the firm’s price target on Edgewell Personal Care (EPC) to $25 from $28 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. The company has taken action over the past several years to strengthen its business, though its growth Internationally has been overshadowed by U.S. weakness, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says Edgewell’s organic sales growth fell short of its own and Street estimates this quarter and the company cut its sales and earnings guidance for the full year. However, it heard a few things on the earnings call that were constructive, like consumption in Edgewell’s categories continues to grow.
