EchoStar (SATS) disclosed that on September 8, the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission sent a follow-up letter informing the company that he has directed the staff of the FCC to terminate the agency’s investigation of EchoStar as set forth in the May 9 letter. “While this resolves the FCC inquiries commenced in the May 9 Letter, our previously announced transactions with AT&T and SpaceX continue to remain subject to FCC approval (and the other previously announced conditions to closing of those transactions),” the company said in a regulatory filing.
