Eaton adds 4 MW solar project in Wisconsin to power manufacturing

Eaton (ETN) is adding a 4-megawatt solar project in Wisconsin in a joint project with We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group (WEC). The installation, located adjacent to Eaton’s Thomas A. Edison Technical Center, will offset 30% of the annual carbon reduction goals at five Eaton facilities in the state. We Energies will build, own, and operate the system on Eaton’s behalf, and Eaton will provide the land and engineering expertise. The project is expected to be energized in early 2026.
