Truist lowered the firm’s price target on Easterly Government Properties (DEA) to $24 from $25 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares. Even as a relative safety play due to the nature of its predominantly U.S. government-agency tenant base, the stock is only performing in line with its peers year to date, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The REIT’s high dividend yield may attract some value investors, but the firm remains at neutral because it expects low earnings growth in the coming years, Truist adds.
