EA’s ‘Battlefield 6’ has bigger Europe launch than last year’s ‘COD,’ TGB says

Electronic Arts’ (EA) newest game “Battlefield 6” had a huge opening week in Europe, surpassing launch sales of last year’s “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” (MSFT) and this year’s “EA Sports FC 26,” the Game Business’ Christopher Dring reports, citing GSD data, which combines physical and digital sales. The launch was four times larger than that of “Battlefield 5,” the author says, noting that “Black Ops 6” was included in Xbox Game Pass, which means it likely still had a higher player count than “Battlefield 6.”
