In an emailed statement to The Fly, a spokesperson for DuPont (DD) said that, “We are aware of a report that the State Administration for Market Regulation of the People’s Republic of China has initiated an investigation. We take this matter very seriously and are reviewing the claims in the report.” The Fly notes that China Daily’s Cheng Yu reported that China’s State Administration for Market Regulation has launched a probe into DuPont China for suspected monopolistic practices.
