China’s State Administration for Market Regulation has launched a probe into DuPont (DD) China for suspected monopolistic practices, violating China’s Anti-Monopoly Law, China Daily’s Cheng Yu reports. The move came as China launched on Friday at least 11 strong countermeasures, including a 34% tariff hike and export controls on rare earth elements, to fight back against the latest round of tariffs from the Trump administration.
