BMO Capital analyst James Thalacker raised the firm’s price target on Duke Energy (DUK) to $124 from $119 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The IURC issued a final order approving a two-step, $296M revenue requirement and a $12.5B rate base, and with another constructive rate case outcome, Duke Energy has largely de-risked regulatory calendar allowing investors to focus on the company’s typical refresh of its 5-year financial outlook, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
