DraftKings (DKNG), in an emailed statement to Bloomberg, says the company “anticipates response” to the the recent decision by the Illinois State legislature to introduce a betting transaction fee for licensed operators on all sports wagers placed within the state. Flutter’s (FLUT) decision to pass on the OSB tax to players is likely to be followed by DraftKings, Jefferies analyst David Katz speculated in a note to investors earlier today.
