Domino’s-DoorDash integration comes modestly sooner than expected, says Stephens

After Domino’s Pizza (DPZ) formally announced a partnership with DoorDash (DASH), stating that Marketplace integration begins in May in the U.S. and will follow in Canada later in FY25, Stephens says the Street widely expected DoorDash as the next partner after Domino’s disclosed on the Q4 call that Uber (UBER) exclusively would expire May 1 and pilots with “third parties” were underway. However, the firm believed the rollout trajectory would be gradual and says the immediacy of today’s full national launch in May “represents a slight acceleration” and timing that was “modestly sooner than anticipated.” Stephens has an Equal Weight rating and $440 price target on Domino’s shares.
