Disney (DIS) has indefinitely halted development of its live-action version of 2010 animated film “Tangled,” Variety’s Pat Saperstein reports. The had been in active development with “The Greatest Showman” director Michael Gracey set to direct it and “Thor: Love and Thunder” writer Jennifer Kaytin Robinson working on the screenplay, the author notes. The move comes in the wake of Disney’s recent live-action “Snow White” film, which has had a disappointing run at the box office, the author says.
