Disney (DIS) previously stated it will name CEO Bob Iger’s successor in early 2026, with two internal candidates as the most likely candidates, Alex Sherman of CNBC reports. Disney Entertainment co-chairman Dana Walden and Disney Experiences chairman Josh D’Amaro are two of the top candidates for the position and it’s possible the board could opt to select both to jointly replace Iger. While there has been a recent wave of co-CEOs, insiders warn that this dynamic would be unwise for the company.
