Diana Shipping (DSX) entered into a time charter contract with Paralos Shipping, for one of its Kamsarmax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Myrsini. The gross charter rate is $13,500 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum December 20, 2026 up to maximum February 20, 2027. The charter is expected to commence on January 1, 2026. The m/v Myrsini is currently chartered, as previously announced, to Cargill International, Geneva, at a gross charter rate of $13,000 per day, minus a 4.75% commission paid to third parties. The “Myrsini” is an 82,117 dwt Kamsarmax bulk vessel built in 2010. The employment of “Myrsini” is anticipated to generate a total of approximately $4.71M of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.
