Deutsche Bank fined EUR 23M by Germany’s BaFin

Germany’s financial supervisory authority BaFin imposed fines of EUR 23.05M on Deutsche Bank (DB) AG . “The company had violated organizational obligations under the Securities Trading Act in connection with the sale of derivatives. In addition, its Postbank branch had disregarded the obligation to record investment advice and had repeatedly failed to comply with the requirements of the Payment Accounts Act regarding account switching assistance,” the agency said in a statement.
