Toyota (TM) supplier Denso (DNZOY) plans to invest Y500B, or $3.3B, in the semiconductor business by 2030, Nikkei Asia’s Kyohei Suga reports, citing comments made by Denso President Shinnosuke Hayashi at the Japan Mobility show. The investment will be used for research and development, capital expenditures and mergers and acquisitions in an effort to develop high-performance chips for automobile use.
