December Gold futures contract is extending its gains to record highs above $4,000 per ounce. Goldminers are also trading slightly higher in pre-market: Newmont (NEM) is up 0.6%, Agnico Eagle (AEM) is up 0.4%, Franco-Nevada (FNV) is up 0.3%, and Kinross Gold (KGC) is up 0.7%, and AngloGold Ashanti (AU) is up 0.7%.
