Goldman Sachs analyst Atsushi Ikeda downgraded Daicel (DACHF) to Neutral from Buy with a price target of 1,380 yen, down from 1,600 yen. Daicel’s Q2 operating profits fell 50% year-over-year and 46% quarter-on-quarter, well below the firm’s and Bloomberg’s consensus estimates, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm added that it lowered its FY26-FY28 operating profit forecasts in the wake of the report.
