CVS Health (CVS) is seeking to purchase stores and patient data from Rite Aid, the pharmacy chain set to go out of business after filing for bankruptcy again, Bloomberg’s Ike Swetlitz reports. CVS has submitted an offer for a significant number of locations in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, as well as patient prescription data, the author says, citing comments from Rite Aid CEO Matthew Schroeder to employees.
