Truist upgraded Cummins (CMI) to Buy from Hold with a price target of $628, up from $522. After hosting meetings with Cummins’ executive management team, the firm says it believes Cummins “offers the best of both worlds” with a core business in Commercial Vehicles that is at a cyclical bottom, and earnings power further accelerated by secular tailwinds in Power Systems.
