Credit Suisse (CS) is giving out retention bonuses to employees whom UBS (UBS) views as critical for the future of the combined entity, Bloomberg’s Marion Halftermeyer, Benjamin Stupples, and Archana Narayanan report. Credit Suisse, in consultation with UBS, has identified a number of staff that are seen as crucial to both preserving businesses until the transaction closes, but also for a smooth transition, the authors note.
