Coupang (CPNG) announced it will offer 1.69T KRW in compensation to 33.7M users impacted by the recent personal information breach. The company said customers will receive vouchers of 50,000 won each. Coupang’s interim representative, Harold Rogers, said, “All of Coupang’s employees are deeply remorseful about the recent breach of privacy and concern to their customers, and have come up with a compensation proposal to take responsible measures for their customers.”
