Stephens analyst Brett Huff lowered the firm’s price target on CoStar Group (CSGP) to $50 from $70 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares after Reuters reported late last week that activist Third Point sold its CoStar position and abandoned its proxy fight due to lower core business confidence. However, the firm still thinks the results of earlier activist efforts are “nonetheless a positive,” the analyst tells investors.
