Corient held talks to buy AlTi Global, Citywire says

Corient, the wealth management arm of Canadian asset manager CI Financial, has held talks to acquire AlTi Global (ALTI) and take the company private, sources with knowledge of the situation told Citywire. The two sides have held talks over the prior few weeks and months, though the current state of negotiations was not immediately clear and a deal has not been finalized, the report added, citing sources.
