Conduent to implement Pay-by-Plate tolling for Richmond authority

Conduent (CNDT) Transportation announced it has been awarded a contract by the Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority, or RMTA, to implement a Pay-by-Plate toll collection system. The initiative supports RMTA’s transition to all-electronic tolling. Conduent’s solution will be delivered through a Tolling-as-a-Service model, enabling motorists to pay using various options. Later this year, Conduent will begin delivering tolling services as RMTA transitions the Powhite Parkway to all-electronic tolling.
