Commerce Bancshares (CBSH), announced that its Board of Directors approved the repurchase, in combination with the amount remaining from the prior authorization on April 17, 2024, of up to 5,000,000 total shares of the Company’s common stock through its share repurchase program. Repurchases under this program may be made from time to time through open market purchases, privately negotiated transactions or such other manners as will comply with applicable laws and regulations. Repurchases, if any, under the program will be made at the sole discretion of management, and the timing and actual number of shares repurchased will depend upon market pricing and conditions, business, legal, accounting and other considerations. The buyback program does not obligate the Company to purchase any particular number of shares and there is no guarantee as to the exact number of shares that will be repurchased by the Company. The program may be suspended, modified or terminated by the Company at any time and for any reason, without prior notice.
