In an interview on CNBC’s Mad Money, Tim Boyle said Columbia is “working diligently” to get its inventories down. Its North American business is not performing as well as Boyle would like. “When we’ve underperformed and worked on those areas, we’ve seen growth,” he noted. He said the company needs some assurance on what is going to happen with respect to tariffs so it can plan accordingly.
