Cognition Therapeutics (CGTX) announced that the company has reached target enrollment of 540 participants in the randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 2 ‘START’ Study. A number of additional patients are in the final stages of screening and will be randomized if they meet all eligibility requirements. START will assess the safety and activity of zervimesine in participants with mild cognitive impairment or early Alzheimer’s disease. Topline results are expected after all participants have completed 18 months of treatment.
