Versant’s (VSNT) CNBC is restructuring its newsroom to unify its TV and digital operations, Dawn Chmielewski and Aditya Soni of Reuters reports, citing four sources familiar with the matter. CNBC is cutting nearly a dozen positions, including the departure of the website’s managing editor, Jeff McCracken, sources told Reuters. CNBC’s editor-in-chief David Cho is preparing to introduce a paywall on CNBC’s website, the people added.
