Closing Bell Movers: RH jumps 20% after Q1 earnings beat

In the opening hour of the evening session, U.S. equity futures are down modestly, with S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, and Dow Industrials all off by about 0.2%.  In commodities, WTI Crude Oil is up about 50c above $68.50 after briefly topping $69 per barrel earlier – the highest level since early April.  Gold is also sustaining its gains above $3,400 per ounce. 

Investors continue to monitor rhetoric from the White House as well as Israel for signs that the Iranian nuclear program issue will yield an escalation by either regime, even though the markets started the day more sanguine that another tame inflation report – as well as continued uptick in weekly jobless claims – will bring about a more accommodative policy response by the Fed.  President Trump posted that U.S. remains committed to a diplomatic resolution, though earlier, he also warned that a “massive conflict” could unfold.

Utilities and Tech were the best sectors on the S&P 500 – both benefiting from lower rates in the fixed income markets.  10-year treasury yield fell another 5bps to 4.35% and the U.S. Dollar Index slipped to its lowest levels since 2022.

• Suzano S.A. (SUZ) up 1.8% after being upgraded to Buy at Goldman Sachs

• Nano Dimension Ltd. (NNDM) down 2.5%
• Seneca Foods Corporation (SENEA) down 2.2%
• Adobe (ADBE) down 1.1%

ALSO LOWER –

• XTI Aerospace (XTIA) down 1.8% after equity offering
