Clear Secure (YOU) app downloads have surged, with passengers downloading the app 289,000 times since the beginning of March, as travelers face long TSA lines amid a partial government shutdown, The Wall Street Journal’s Allison Pohle reports. Clear is expanding beyond airport security, with its Clear1 platform seeing record bookings and with new deals in healthcare, the report notes.
