Citi says February data points to consistently weak traffic trends for Herbalife

Citi analyst Chasen Bender says that looking at Similarweb and Sensor Tower data for February compiled by the firm’s Research Innovation Lab, the key takeaways are that globally, in Q1-to-date, the trends across web and app traffic have been consistently weak with a notable worsening in average unique visitors to myherbalife (HLF).com; in the U.S. in Q1-to-date, there has been a sharp reversal in the trend of average unique visitors and total web visits to myherbalife.com, which was growing double digits in mid/late 2024 but is now declining year-over-year; in Mexico, the trend of average active users of the Herbalife Shop app has softened sequentially in Q1-to-date vs. Q4 2024 and is now trending negative year-over-year; and in India, the trend in average active users of the Herbalife Shop app remains unchanged at -5.1% year-over-year in Q1-to-date vs. Q4 2024. The firm has a Buy rating on the shares with a price target of $13.
