Truist analyst John McDonald raised the firm’s price target on Citi (C) to $147 from $139 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. Ahead of the company’s Investor Day next week, the firm notes that the key item to watch is its new ROTCE target. Truist adds that it could be provided in two stages: at 12%-13% for 2027-28 and then mid-teens as an end-state target, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
