Citi (C)group CEO Jane Fraser said merger activity is rebounding as U.S. companies gain confidence on policy signals and believes a recession is looking unlikely, Joumanna Bercetche and Nicolas Parasie of Bloomberg reports. In an interview with Bloomberg TV, Fraser said clients have become “much more active” in capital markets, investing, and dealmaking. “Our client base now is really starting to act with confidence,” Fraser said, according to Bloomberg.
