Cineverse (CNVS) announced the acquisition of Pan’s Labyrinth, Guillermo del Toro’s Oscar-winning film. The announcement was made ahead of the film’s 20th Anniversary in 2026, when Cineverse plans to re-release it in theaters. The deal includes all North American distribution rights to Pan’s Labyrinth, which Cineverse plans to release not only in theaters – including in a premium wide-format – but also home entertainment, VOD and streaming, plus develop additional original content including podcasts.
