CIBC (CM) announced that Victor Dodig plans to retire as president and CEO, effective October 31 and that Harry Culham has been appointed as COO effective April 1 and will succeed Dodig as president and CEO, effective November 1. Dodig will serve as a special advisor to Culham and the board from November 1 to April 30, 2026 to support a seamless transition. Dodig has served as president and CEO of CIBC since September 2014.
