China’s Ministry of Commerce has launched an anti-discrimination investigation into the U.S. trade policy over chips and also launched a separate investigation into dumping, Ryan Woo of Reuters reports. The first investigation will examine in Washington discriminated against Chinese companies over its trade policies on chips. Meanwhile, the second will look into the suspected dumping of imports of some U.S. analog chips used in devices. Publicly traded companies in the space include AMD (AMD), Intel (INTC), Marvell (MRVL), Microchip (MCHP), Micron (MU), Nvidia (NVDA), Qualcomm (QCOM) and Texas Instruments (TXN).
