Century Aluminum (CENX) announced the sale of the Hawesville, Kentucky site, which will be redeveloped by TeraWulf (WULF) into a digital infrastructure campus supporting high-performance computing and artificial intelligence workloads. Century will retain a non-controlling minority equity stake. The redevelopment of the Hawesville site by TeraWulf is expected to create new jobs, both construction and permanent skilled positions. The total consideration payable to Century for the Property consists of $200M in cash and a 6.8% non-dilutive minority equity interest in Raylan Data Holdings, a Delaware limited liability company and an affiliate of TeraWulf.
