John Ross, president and CEO of Central Bancompany (CBC), commented “We are pleased to announce solid financial results for the first quarter of 2026. First quarter net income was $111.1 million, or $0.46 per fully diluted share, reflecting a 2.20% ROA and a 46.3% efficiency ratio. We’ve grown net income by $16.3 million, or 17%, from the first quarter of 2025. We were encouraged by loan growth in the quarter, with ending loans excluding other consumer up nearly 6% annualized quarter-over-quarter. Our teams grew average deposits by $0.8 billion, or 5%, including growth of over $400 million in average noninterest-bearing demand balances from the prior year quarter’s balances.”
