JPMorgan raised the firm’s price target on Caterpillar (CAT) to $520 from $475 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The firm views the company’s earnings report and updated guidance as a “clearing event.” The margin margin guide down with an improved sales outlook is a “clearing event for investors to frame the bull case for 2026,” the analyst tells investors in a research note.
