Caterpillar (CAT) appointed Christy Pambianchi to Chief Human Resources Officer effective May 1. Pambianchi will be a member of Caterpillar’s Executive Office and will succeed Cheryl Johnson, whose retirement was announced in January. Pambianchi has served as a CHRO for the past 18 years at various companies across multiple industries, most recently serving as Chief People Officer at Intel. Pambianchi has held CHRO roles at Verizon and Corning. She also held additional roles of increased responsibility at PepsiCo.
