Caterpillar acquires assets of Monarch Tractor, TechCrunch says

Caterpillar (CAT) has acquired the assets of Monarch Tractor, Sean O’Kane of TechCrunch reports, citing filings with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The acquisition followings several difficult years for Monarch, which had gone through multiple layoffs, was sued by three different dealers, and lost a major contract manufacturing partner.
