Piper Sandler analyst Andrew Liesch lowered the firm’s price target on Capitol Federal (CFFN) to $6.50 from $7 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The firm notes CapFed reported Q1 2025 EPS of 12c, which topped its estimate and the Street consensus by a penny. The upside was mostly from lower expenses than Piper modeled, but net interest income was slightly better than expected too.
