California Water Service subsidiary proposes rate adjustment

California Water Service (CWT) Group subsidiary Washington Water Service has filed a request with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission to increase water rates to recover $14.9M in costs it has incurred to fund the improvement and maintenance of its local water systems as well as increased expenses over the last two years. If approved as filed, new rates could become effective as early as November 15, 2025.
