California BanCorp (BCAL) announces that Steven Shelton has retired from the position of Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Company and the Bank, effective as of December 31, 2025. Shelton will continue to work with the Company and Bank through December 31, 2026, in an advisory capacity. David Rainer has been appointed by the Company’s Board of Directors to serve as Chief Executive Officer, effective as of December 31, 2025, in addition to serving as the Company and Bank’s Chairman.
