Stephens lowered the firm’s price target on Cal-Maine Foods (CALM) to $95 from $105 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. Egg fundamentals have continued to deteriorate during what is typically the strongest demand period of the year, says the analyst, who continues to hear that additional shelf price reductions may be needed to drive stronger in-store clearance. The firm lowered its fiscal Q2 adjusted EPS view to $1.86 from $2.19 ahead of earnings, while also lowering its FY26 and FY27 EPS estimates.
