Legacy tech companies are looking to the merger market to improve their AI position, Adam Levine wrote for Barron’s last week. Of note, Levine writes that Oracle (ORCL) is a “prime candidate” to add AI to its software through M&A, and says C3 AI’s (AI) offerings would “fit nicely” with Oracle’s software. Meanwhile, Check Point (CHKP), a “pioneer” in cybersecurity, could turn back to growth with an acquisition of SentinelOne (S), Levine writes.
