Erste Group analyst Stephan Lingnau downgraded BYD (BYDDF) to Hold from Buy. The firm says the average price of a BYD car sold in Europe has fallen every quarter over the last two years, which is affecting the company’s profitability. “There is no end in sight to this negative trend,” the analyst tells investors in a research note.
