BP (BP) plans to wind down much of its pipeline gas trading team, eliminating about 20 roles and integrating the remaining staff into its expanding LNG trading business as the company adapts to Europe’s continued shift away from Russian pipeline gas toward liquefied natural gas, Reuters’ Dmitry Zhdannikov and Marwa Rashad report, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
