Bowman Consulting awarded $4.2M construction engineering contract

Bowman Consulting (BWMN) announced that the Will County Board of Commissioners has awarded the company a $4.2M construction engineering contract for the reconstruction of the Bell Road and 143rd Street intersection in Homer Glen, Illinois. The $24M infrastructure project spans 1.8 miles and includes a full pavement rebuild, construction of five cast-in-place and segmental block retaining walls, traffic signal modernization and extensive storm sewer upgrades with underground storage. The project will also include new sidewalks and ADA-compliant ramps. Bowman’s responsibilities include full construction management, oversight and documentation to ensure successful execution of these transportation improvements.
